Starbucks (Marvin Rd)

1401 Marvin Rd NE Lacey (360)491.1190
Wifi: Limited ..AT&T

Coffee: Espresso Blend; Starbucks roasters

Isaiah: (8) This is particularly good. Good temp and foam. Nothing negative to say. (Liquid chai!) Usually don't prefer Starbucks but this is the first time we've been to one in 2010 and I don't think it's bad! Chai is good and smooth; not spicy though..
Hannah: (7) Definitely distinct; I'm sorry that the machines do all the work. It's really lost the art of coffee making. Has a particularly smooth characteristic. (Milky and sweet.)

Foam Art: No
Heat: Machines do it... 155, extra hot-172
Size Range: 12oz, 16oz, 20oz
Price: I-$5.26 (16oz) H-$3.15 (12oz) When the lady told me how much to pay she told me 2.90 (which is the price before tax) Seems a little deceptive since I actually had to pay a total of 3.15.
For here? Yes

Environment: Not too busy, more slow pace. I've always loved the Starbucks' that have charcoal colored ceilings. I love video stream of live music! Handicap, small, and business tables. Lounge chairs, but no bar. Only 2 places for laptops to plug in...But there is a larger table that is super laptop friendly despite their major internet issues.
Baristas: Very friendly, outgoing, and talkative! Feel like I can make friends already! (Male & Female)
Music: Great! Love the live video stream!
Seating: Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor. (I always thought they could use new lounge chairs as when we sit in them dust flies!)
Parking: Okay
Population: Current head count-11 @ 12:24pm (Thur.) An easy flow of people; most people get it to go.
Drive through? No

Hannah: (7 besides the wifi issue) Not going to stop saying this-A coffee shop NEEDS free wifi! I don't have AT&T, but I do have a laptop which I didn't even bother bringing. The shop is nice, I like the outdoor seating in the summer. The colors and lighting are so perfect for a coffee shop.

Isaiah: (6 1/2) I have to agree with my sister. Disapointing that there's no wifi. Other than that, the people are friendly, there's plenty of seating and the coffee is good!
